Last Trail Marathon Recon Trip
A couple of us headed back out to Wilderness this morning to check the mileage again for next week's trail marathon. There are 400 runners coming from all over so really wanted to make sure the mileage was correct. The trails at Wilderness are about 95% rideable right now and only getting better. Let's hope for no more rain or snow!
Here marks 13.1 miles!
These strong winds are knocking lots of trees and branches down

Trail Marathon Recon
Couple of us headed out to check some mileage for the upcoming Run for the Bridges trail marathon. We got out there early enough so the ground was still frozen. Once it started to warm up, which didn't take much today, the trails were not rideable (READ: lots of walking). You can tell a lot of people have been riding out there when it's muddy. If you are leaving a tracks it's too wet to ride. I've also been told that Platte River is no where close to ride either.
On a positive note. If we don't get rain this week Branched Oak might be rideable by next weekend. We'll keep you posted.
