Bikers Love Beer Home Brew Contest

  

The concept for the "Bikers Love Beer Home Brew Contest" was simple... If you ride a bike there is a pretty good chance you enjoy beer. Working at the bike shop we get lots of samples of home brew so why not put together a contest so people can hang out, share their beer with others and win some prizes while they're at it.  20 cycling brewers were invited to the event, with a final count of 12 brewers that brewed 5 gallons of 65 or higher IBU beer. Each brewer along with CW staff invited a small amount of people for this event. Because space at the shop is limited we had to keep this event private. So if you want to come to the next one, make sure you brew beer or have a buddy that does. We had 120+ people that attended the event who were considered a "Judge" where he or she would try each beer and rank each one. If you rode your bike to the event you were eligible for one of many prizes that were supplied by our awesome sponsors! And just like that, we had an amazing night and I'm pretty sure a lot of unmotivated people at work on Monday morning.
