Long weekends are the best!

What an awesome weekend of riding! To start off the long weekend we had a pretty good group out riding Wilderness Thanksgiving morning. 11 people left the starting point and at one point we had 17 people riding one big line. Nothing is better than having a big group like that... I'm still excited about it. Saturday a couple of us headed back to Swanson, since Platte was closed for hunting. Swanson is in great shape, so hurry up and get out there before the snow falls!

Cycle Works / Moose's Tooth 70th & Pioneers Blvd. Lincoln

Teams will navigate around Lincoln in an allotted amount of time in the dark on bikes to find checkpoints. Check in: 5:00pm Start:6:00pm Finish time cut off: 9:00pm. Every minute after 9:00pm teams will lose a checkpoint. Divisions: Solo, 2 or 3 person teams (male, female, co-ed). Fees: $25.00 per person. Includes shirt, insurance, awards, prizes, snacks. Entries will be accepted until race time. Entries received after October 8 will NOT get a shirt. Required gear: Team:mountain bikes or hybrids with knobby tires, first aid kit, cell phone, extra tubes, patch kit, $5.00. Individual gear: helmet, rear blinky light, bike head light, hydration pack or something similar to hold 40oz. Any items not on teams or individual will result in a 30 minute penalty at the start! Teams will be required to purchase a few items along the way so don't forget your cash.
