Wilderness Park is in great shape. Get out and take advantage of it before it rains and makes it unrideable. Only a couple of sections that you will need to ride with caution to not tracks

12th Annual Oak Creek Valley Bike Ride scheduled for Sunday May 15, 2011 in Valparaiso, Nebraska, and support the University Sertoma Club of Lincoln, Nebraska.   
        
Choose from several distances of 24, 31, 39, 44, 46 or 70-mile routes of Nebraska highways, a paved county road or the stretches of natural prairie on the Oak Creek Trail. 
There will be rest stops every 8-10 miles, plus two roving SAG vehicles including Cycle Works Bike Shop for mechanical support.  All routes start and stop in Valparaiso, Nebraska, located just 18 miles north of Lincoln, Nebraska on Highway 79.

Well, after lots of complaining...and stalking...we finally hired Jim Craig! He has been known for sleeping on the job, as well as hosting sweet local rides...we might have to trust him for now...
